Overcoming Boredom and Enjoying Work

"Work is either fun or drudgery. It depends on your attitude. I like fun. - Working is not fun, nor too heavy. It all depends on your attitude. I like the work fun." Colleen C. Barrett

Every day we spend a lot of time to work, whether in offices, markets, rice fields, the field or wherever we are. An employee, for example, on average he would spend eight hours every day. Eight hours is a very long and tiring if we do not enjoy the job, not excited, sad, lethargic, and drowsy. Had forced then only be a waste of time and effort, because the result would not be maximal. Saturated and does not enjoy the job is common in human life. But we must be good at these things did not get around to a protracted and inhibit our productivity. There are seven tips that we can enjoy the job and easy to overcome boredom, to get the optimal job.

The first step before starting to work is to love our jobs first. Various factors can trigger the saturation, so that we can not enjoy the job. But if we love what we're tekuni, then we will feel more meaningful, because basically every person in this world has a role and are equally important.

Loving the work will also encourage us to work with full responsibility. Quoting the words of an Indonesian teacher work ethic, Jansen Sinamo, "Work is trustworthy, you must work correctly and responsibly." Responsible in the sense of doing what is best is often a real impact on improving the quality of the jobs we morale.

Realities of working life is also not free from various kinds of barriers, whether in the form of competition or sabotage, lack of facilities and capital, pressure from superiors and others. Not infrequently in the language barrier or positive is called the `challenge 'to make us not enjoy the job. But you should never let the challenges of the job even hinder our performance.

Steps that we can embark on in the challenge is to think positive. With positive thinking, we will see challenges as a way to improve ourselves. Sages from Japan, as quoted in The Prentice Hall Encyclopedia of World Proverb says, "Adversity is the foundation of virtue - The challenge is the foundation of goodness." That means we will be able to maintain morale remained high and always enjoy working with positive thinking.

In addition, the enjoyment in doing the work of them driven by the ability we have. When a job requires a certain skill level, while our own limited ability to be very easy to trigger the tedious work situation or unpleasant. It would be nice if we always increase the capabilities, sharpen skills and fill the mind with information or the latest scientific knowledge.

The move will affect how we finish the job, such as way that we are more varied and creative. More creative ways of working to make sure we are happy to do our job. "... Even without success, creative persons find joy in a job well done. Learning for its own sake is rewarding ... - ... though without success, creative people who really enjoy the job that he can finish well ... just for Learning enhance creativity will always be beneficial, "said Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.

While other steps can we take to be able to enjoy the job is consistent nurturing attitude. As said earlier that life in the working world is filled with various challenges. But if we always acted consistently against the initial purpose, namely to produce the best jobs, the restlessness, anxiety, boredom and all the less fun on the job will be replaced with a sense of calm and happy. In the end, be consistent, it makes us more advanced in the field of our work.

The next step is to establish the scale of priorities in the work. Work on the most important task, and finish in accordance with the deadline we have set yourself. Obey the target deadlines or deadlines, and we should be ashamed if you break them. Thus, we will be encouraged to finish the job without feeling burdened.

In the meantime, we can not deny that we always need the support of others. John Ruskin explains, "Every great man is always being helped by everybody, for his gift is to get good out of All Things and all persons. - Every great person who always supported by others, because the good that he got came from a variety of reasons and support of others. " Intelligence in managing relationships with people in the environment affects our psychological atmosphere at work, especially on the job.

So steps should we take is to create a communicative working atmosphere. Spend some time at least to hear and try to understand the hopes and problems being faced by people within the scope of our work. Thereby creating mutual understanding and friendship ties, which eventually gave birth in a pleasant atmosphere to work.

Perhaps one reason we are not eager to work, bored, lazy and so we are less empowered because of the potential or underappreciated. If only it was combined with the potential for morale, surely the results are very impressive. Then steps can we take is to try to motivate each other and appreciate fellow colleagues, superiors, subordinates or colleagues.

Motivation and appreciation not only create intimacy in the work environment, but also to rekindle the spirit for racing in the performance. "Motivation is the fuel, Necessary to keep the human engine running. - Motivation is the fuel, it is vital to heaved a human morale," says Zig Ziglar. With mutual respect and motivate, we will always get the source for more hard-working spirit.

One thing we have to think, time will continue to run regardless of whether we're excited to work, depressed, happy or sleepy. So do not waste time, do the best job. Seven tips above will help us work better, because there's always a way to do our jobs better. "There is a way to do it better ... find it. - There is always a way to work well ... look," said Thomas Edison.

It sounds a little scary, but anesthesia is made as safe as possible by careful calculation of the required dosages and diligent monitoring by medical professionals.
